Impact France and the Union Française de l'Électricité (UFE) are calling for the adoption of a European climate target for 2040 that is ambitious and conducive to growth, but also backed by a clear, pragmatic framework that preserves the competitiveness of European businesses. This is also an opportunity to reaffirm the EU's climate ambitions.

On Tuesday, the French National Assembly finally adopted the bill to simplify economic life and reduce the administrative burden on businesses. While Impact France welcomes the inclusion of a number of simplification measures in response to needs expressed by companies in the field, we regret that the bill's adoption has entrenched further major steps backwards in terms of sustainability, also contributing to the regulatory instability that is undermining our economic fabric.

Faced with the slow pace of adoption of the text, more than a hundred leaders are mobilizing and calling for stability and consistency in decisions to guarantee France's energy resilience and justice, strategic levers at the heart of the competitiveness of our economy and our sovereignty.

Impact France, along with Mobilians and the Alliance des Mobilités, SesamLLD, Ilec, C3D and ADRA are joining forces to encourage a change in the way mobility credit is handled.
