Impact France's 4 colleges

Impact companies are at the heart of the Movement, which aims to represent and federate all companies committed to the ecological and social transition.

Companies with a social and ecological impact

A company whose sole purpose is to solve a social and/or ecological problem while aligning its organization around this objective. This includes, in particular, social and environmental utility companies as defined in Article 2 of Law No. 2014-856: SSE commercial companies and organizations with ESUS accreditation.

Company in transition

A company seeking to align the profitability of its business model with a strategy of positive social and/or ecological impact. They are accepted on the basis of the best existing French statutes and labels enabling them to qualify, or by obtaining a score above 50 on the Impact Score.

Ecosystem

All players in the impact ecosystem with more than half of their activities dedicated to impact and transition businesses (impact financiers, incubators, consultancies, impact assessment specialists).

Contractor networks

All cross-industry organizations (federations, networks, coalitions, etc.) whose ambition is to accelerate the commitment of French companies to the social and ecological transition, in particular by defending the commitments of the Impact Score.

Companies with a social and ecological impact

A company whose sole purpose is to solve a social and/or ecological problem, while aligning its organization around this objective to limit its negative impacts.

Company in transition

A company seeking to reconcile its quest for profit with the pursuit of positive social and/or ecological impacts.

Ecosystem: funders, incubators, gas pedals

All players in the impact ecosystem with more than half of their activities dedicated to impact and transition businesses.

Contractor networks

All cross-industry organizations (federations, networks, coalitions, etc.) whose ambition is to accelerate the commitment of French companies to the social and ecological transition, in particular by defending the commitments of the Impact Score.
