Les Cigales

A CIGALES Club (Club d'Investisseurs pour une Gestion Alternative et Locale de l'Épargne Solidaire) is a solidarity-based venture capital structure that mobilizes its members' savings to create and develop small local and collective businesses (SARLs, SCOPs, SCICs, SAs, associations, etc.). The Club is made up of 5 to 20 citizens who pool part of their savings. The Club meets several times a year to welcome entrepreneurs, decide on their investments and allocate these collective savings to the capital of the companies.
