Ademe Investment

ADEME Investissement is 100% owned by the French government, as part of the "France 2030" plan. Its mission is to provide equity financing for innovative infrastructure projects in the field of energy and ecological transition, alongside private-sector players. It has a budget of 400 million euros. While ADEME supports projects from the R&D phase through to industrial demonstrators by means of grants and repayable advances, ADEME Investissement intervenes at the scale-up or first commercialization stage by sharing the risk with traditional financiers through an equity contribution. ADEME Investissement draws on ADEME's expertise to select and analyze relevant projects.
